Beijing Contemporary Art Museum is located in the artist community of Songzhuang, Tongzhou, Beijing. It serves as a new platform for showcasing and researching Chinese contemporary art and facilitating academic exchanges with foreign artists at a high level. The museum boasts an exhibition area of over 3000 square meters, housed in a modern gray-brick building with distinct contemporary architectural features. The exhibition space is divided into three levels: the top floor is designated for the display of installations and sculptures, the middle floor features a soaring ten-meter-high space with a new media art exhibition hall.
Beijing Contemporary Art Museum was founded by artist Qin Feng and is advised by the renowned collector and industrialist Jin Xianglin. Mr. Jin Xianglin’s Huantie Art City is home to hundreds of famous contemporary Chinese artists and plays a pivotal role in the Beijing contemporary art market. The museum will join forces with Jin Xianglin in Huantie Art City to conduct high-quality international art exchanges and create a hub for artists of original and authentic Chinese art. Opening Hours: Open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; closed all day on Monday.
