Green Island Park is rebuilt from the original Ningbo Zoo. Now it is mainly composed of an amusement park and a botanical park. The park is surrounded by water on three sides. It faces the canal sluice in the east, the Yaojiang River and the Yaojiang River sluice in the west, and faces the Ningbo Grand Theatre across the water in the south.
