Ages ago, in the mystical East known as ‘Xulin’, where the sun rises, a strange darkness began to spread, and the sun ceased to rise. The guardian of the sun, ‘Mang’, a young man with the body of a bird and the face of a human, inspired by the Chinese mythological Spring God ‘Gou Mang’ who governs trees, bravely takes on the responsibility to save the sun and ventures into the mysterious forest, vowing to rebirth the light.
Deep within the forest, there are five mysterious areas. The forest paths meander and wind through secluded trails, leading Mang on a journey where he encounters surreal fantasies and seeks out the five elemental sources of water, wood, fire, metal, and earth. With each activation of an elemental source, the sun’s energy is enhanced until the sunrise reemerges, radiating brilliance. Now, as darkness strikes again, audiences will embark on an adventure with Mang into the five realms of Xulin, following his guidance to encounter forest spirits and explore the five elemental sources, allowing light to return to the world.
