The Tiankeng Village Scenic Area is located in Mingxing Village, Fairy Mountain Town, Wulong District, Chongqing City. It is adjacent to the Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges and Impression Wulong, and situated at the core of the Wulong World Natural Heritage site.

Tiankeng Village is famous for the Tujia and Miao ethnic minorities living in two unparalleled sister sinkholes (Middle and Lower Shiyuan Tiankeng). It is not only home to beautiful natural scenery but also a gathering place for intangible cultural heritage and a cultural tourism destination in Wulong. It is also the filming location for the second season of Hunan TV’s ‘Dad, Where Are We Going?’ and ‘Grown in One Journey’.

Explore the beauty of Tiankeng Village. The Shiyuan Tiankeng, with a diameter of 645 meters, is one of the largest sinkholes discovered in the world. Known as the ‘Heart of the Earth’ due to its heart-shaped outline, inside the pit, there are clouds and mist, birds singing and flowers fragrance, peaceful and quiet fields, and a tranquil and serene atmosphere, like a paradise separated from the world.

Tiankeng Village, nestled in a sinkhole, exudes an air of secluded paradise. It is also known as the parent-child paradise, serving as the filming location for the first episode of the second season of ‘Dad, Where Are We Going?’. Under the guidance of village chief Li Rui, five star dads and six adorable children embarked on a heartwarming parent-child adventure here.

The scenic area is open year-round, with operating hours from 08:30 to 17:30.
