Chongqing Tourism Group’s Hongyan Cultural Tourism Company has meticulously created the Chongqing Immersive Black Box Theater – Hongyan Red Immersive Theater, which integrates ‘immersive, walking, and interactive’ experiences. Located at No. 18 Lingyun Road, Shapingba District, Chongqing (near the Zhazidong Scenic Area), the theater covers an area of 11,300 square meters and serves as an important reception and service area for the Zhazidong Scenic Area. It is also an integral part of the Hongyan Scenic Area, including Zhazidong and Bai Mansion.
Hongyan Red Immersive Theater combines Hongyan culture with traditional tourism, focusing on the historical and cultural theme of Hongyan. Through live performances enhanced with stage design, music, and sound and light technology, it vividly recreates the unforgettable history of Hongyan. It has become a high-cultural recognition and strong artistic appeal performance that tourists must see when visiting Zhazidong and Bai Mansion.
Opening hours are from 09:30 to 18:00 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) accompanied by an adult enter for free; martyrs’ families with valid proof enter for free; students from primary, middle, high school, vocational, and full-time undergraduate students (excluding adult education and postgraduate students) with valid student IDs receive discounted tickets; seniors aged 60 and above with valid ID receive discounted tickets; and veterans with veteran preferential certificates receive discounted tickets.
