Shennü Lake is located at the northern end of the Yongchuan ramp of the Yu-Kun Expressway, at the southern foot of the picturesque Chashan Zhuhai scenic area. The scenic area integrates various garden elements such as mountains, waters, forests, stones, pavilions, and corridors into one park, combining fresh and elegant natural landscapes with classical and romantic cultural views. It is a compound experience-oriented ecological and cultural park.
Shennü Lake is one of the ‘Three Lakes’ project in Yongchuan, which includes Xinglong Lake, Fenghuang Lake, and Shennü Lake. The park, with a total investment of 250 million yuan, began construction in March 2010, covering an area of about 1000 acres, with water bodies accounting for approximately 200 acres and green landscapes for about 800 acres. Surrounding the water body of Shennü Lake, there is a harmonious combination of a 160,000 square meter lakeside park, a 30,000 square meter tea mountain park, a 50,000 square meter bamboo mountain park, and a 140,000 square meter Shennü park.
The park is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
