Chongqing Longxing General Airport’s terminal building (including air traffic control tower) covers an area of 1,545 square meters. The civil apron has 37 parking positions, with 27 fixed-wing aircraft spots and 10 helicopter spots. The runway is 800 meters long and 30 meters wide, capable of accommodating aircraft up to the PC-12 model. Tourists can experience ‘simulated’ helicopter piloting in the air with helmets and headsets, while actual flying is performed by professional pilots. Each flight lasts 5-10 minutes. From the helicopter, tourists can take in the layered mountains, meandering rivers, highways, and the magnificent urban clusters. This activity aims to popularize the culture and concept of general aviation tourism among the public, creating a new leisure lifestyle. Open all year round from 10:00 to 17:00.
