The Gate of Bamboo Sea at Sandengpo, the east entrance of the bamboo sea scenic area, was built in 2017. It is adjacent to the mountains and the ‘sea’ of bamboos. You can overlook the vast flat plains in front and explore the wonderful scenery of the Baili Bamboo Sea at the back! Admire the famous people’s poems, couplets, Zen sitting statue sculptures and the imposing Xishan stone carvings. Experience the bamboo sea cliffs and landscape plank roads. Appreciate the views and listen to the waves at the bamboo sea. You can taste the sweet spring water with bamboo dew. As the east gate of the Baili Bamboo Sea, it is majestic yet elegant. Looking into the distance from here, you can enjoy the boundless Baili Liangping basin. The Gate of Bamboo Sea is not only a perfect combination of man-made landscapes and nature, but also a viewing platform with an extremely wide field of vision.
