The Hechuan Ancient Building Red Maple Forest is located in Qilong Village, Hechuan District, Chongqing. Spanning over 1000 acres, it features American-improved red maple trees that have been cultivated for years, making it an excellent destination for autumn maple leaf viewing. In response to the large influx of visitors and traffic during the previous two red maple festivals, the scenic area has improved its infrastructure, upgraded the red maple and jacaranda viewing platforms, renovated the 6.4-kilometer sightseeing loop in the core scenic area, constructed over 20 leisure trails, expanded the red maple forest by 120 acres, and unified the planning of local specialty and rural food stalls. The area is open year-round from 8:00 to 18:00.
