Meet Rachael in late autumn. The annual appointment has arrived again. This year, Rachael Yamagata’s tour is full of sincerity. The tour cities include 11. She also brings a full-band lineup and will sing many unreleased new songs.

Watching Rachael Yamagata’s performance is an almost perfect live experience. Her unique voice, diverse musical styles, humorous interactions and impromptu performances allow fans to fully enjoy the all-dimensional charm brought by the music scene. Her live performance can bring both a playful dizziness and inspire profound catharsis. But she is not here to heal you, but to tell you how to heal yourself.
New album warm-up. Each record marks a summary of a crucial moment in life. ‘Happenstance’ (2004) records romantic heartache. In 2008, ‘Elephants…Teeth Sinking Into Heart’ delved deeper into loss and broken promises. The 2011 album ‘Chesapeake’ has greater confidence. The 2016 album ‘Tightrope Walker’ has expanded to resilience, empowerment and forgiveness. Her new album (not yet named) stands out from this lineage, daring to ‘either sink or swim’. As in ‘Empty Houses’, ‘All our best plans are washed away like plastic in the sand’. These new songs are based on exciting lyrics and also shine in a new dimension, with an obvious fusion of spiritual influence and worldly experience. The new album expresses the need to savor every moment until the last bit, remember why we are here, slow down, be here now and bear witness.
