Ngong Ping Piazza serves as a central connection point to various attractions such as Po Lin Monastery, Tian Tan Buddha, Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, Ngong Ping Village, and Heart Sutra Woodland. The piazza is primarily composed of a new archway, Bodhi Path, Earth Altar, and Chinese-style pavilions, with numerous shops selling snacks and souvenirs. The new archway, located at the entrance of Ngong Ping Piazza, is designed in the style of Northern Chinese architecture from the Qing Dynasty. The Bodhi Path features twelve stone statues of the Medicine Buddha’s generals and forty stone lotus lamps. The Earth Altar frequently hosts religious ceremonies, while the Chinese-style pavilions echo the design of Po Lin Monastery. Operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM all year round, with accessible services including wheelchair-friendly entrances.
