Xianjiyan Mountain

Xianjiyan Mountain, located in the Jingmei area, is also known as ‘Xizikou Mountain’, with an elevation of 144 meters. It is said that Lu Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals, left his footprints here, which has made Xianjiyan Mountain famous. Today, there is an approximately 1.9-kilometer hiking trail built on the mountain, with a total length of about 3.5 kilometers, taking about 2 hours to walk. Starting from the archway at Jingmei Jingxing Road Lane 243, after climbing the 78-step Longevity Stairs and the 100-step Ascension Slope, you will find yourself on a lush green trail. Along the way, the vegetation is lush, and there are many pavilions for resting or sightseeing, making the walk never too tiring, especially cool in the summer. The view from the mountain is excellent, and from the top of Xianjiyan Mountain and the Xianyan Temple, you can overlook the streets of the Taipei Basin, which is very refreshing. The mountain is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
