The totem pole is located in the Yalong Bay Central Square and forms three circles of stone formations with the surrounding central sculpture area. The totem pole and the sculpture group are integrated. It gives people a visual experience of rising towards the blue sky and extending towards the sea. There are five groups of white sail-shaped spire tents and large colorful fountains on the periphery of the square, adding a lot of modern atmosphere to the sculptures with profound cultural connotations. The column relief has sixteen totem patterns. Each circle of stone formations has its unique significance. For example, each group of stone formations in the first circle represents ancient graphics in four directions. The eight groups of stone formations in the second circle represent eight ancient myths with classical significance. The stone formations in the third circle represent the Chinese nation’s worship of natural totems. The totem pole endows the Yalong Bay Central Square with artistic connotations and is worth a visit. Open all year round and open all day.
