JiaJing Island, located in the Shimei Bay area, is a pristine uninhabited island where the crystal-clear seawater offers visibility of over ten meters. As you wade into the shallow waters, you can easily spot sea stars, sea cucumbers, and living corals. The island’s natural beauty has even attracted the film ‘If You Are the One 2’ for shooting scenes.
Access to the island is primarily through guided tours due to its untouched nature. The southern coast of the island is rugged with many rocks, making it an ideal spot for fishing; whereas the northern and western coasts are flat with a vast array of coral reefs and colorful tropical fish beneath the surface, creating a spectacular underwater garden and a diver’s paradise. The island is open all year round from 08:00 to 19:00.
