Shen Yu Island, nestled within the Mao’an Maozhen Reservoir, is a haven of natural beauty. Surrounded by mountains and waters, it forms the core of Hainan’s tropical rainforest ecosystem. Here, you can marvel at the splendor of mountain lakes, untouched tropical rainforests, ancient lychee trees that have stood for a millennium, forest streams, and the incredible Cyathea forests, which are living fossils dating back a billion years. The island is also home to the ethereal peach blossom jellyfish.

This reservoir-based water conservancy scenic area is set against the picturesque backdrop of Biyu Lake and the enveloping tropical mountain rainforest. It operates from 08:30 to 18:00 every day, offering a full day of exploration and enjoyment.

For your visit, we have the following preferential policies in place:
– Children under 1.2 meters in height enter for free.
– Children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive) are eligible for discounts.
– Seniors aged 70 and above enter for free.
– Seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 69 (inclusive) receive discounts.
– Full-time undergraduate students and below can enjoy discounts with valid identification.
– People with disabilities enter for free with valid identification.
