Binglang River Cultural Tourism Scenic Area is located one kilometer north of Fenghuang Road in Sanya City, south to the West Line Railway, north to the Shuiyuanchi Reservoir, and downstream of Shuiyuanchi Reservoir along the banks of Binglang River. The Sanya Binglang River International Rural Tourism Area is rich in tourism resources, including Li ethnic culture resources, intangible cultural heritage resources, hot spring tourism resources, natural water resources for rural tourism, and Binglang culture resources, all of which provide a rich source for the development of tourism.
The tourism area is planned according to a ‘one corridor and seven areas’ layout, which will develop projects such as the Binglang River Water-Friendly Leisure Corridor, Li Ethnic Culture Experience Area, International Rural Health and Vacation Area, Binglang River Mountain Climbing Park, Modern Agricultural Sightseeing Area, Agri-Homestay Experience Area, Binglang River Mountain Sports Area, and Comprehensive Service Center, scaling up tourism functions such as nightlife leisure, health and vacation, composite Li ethnic culture performances, water entertainment, rural agri-homes and inns, tropical technology agriculture and sightseeing agriculture, and camping expansion.
The tourism area focuses on developing agricultural tourism and Li ethnic folk culture, using ‘Binglang River Night’ as a breakthrough to create an agricultural rural tourism area with unique rural scenery, distinctive folk characteristics, and night tourism, using tourism to drive the development of the rural economy.
