Wenlan Cultural Park is located in Lingao County, Hainan Province, situated along the Wenlan River and at the heart of the new city. The planning area extends from Wenlan Avenue in the south to Jinlan Avenue in the north, from the eastern bank of the Wenlan River to the municipal avenue in the west. The park spans approximately 1200 meters in width and 2000 meters in length. Within the park, there is a 2-kilometer-long archway inscribed with classic couplets reflecting the five thousand years of the Chinese nation’s history. The park also features architectural columns representing world history and Chinese history, as well as the construction of an Aloha Square, a Lili Mei Square, a Lingao Ancient City, and a Lingao Planning Exhibition Hall. Additionally, the park will expand its water surface by three to four hundred acres to create water entertainment facilities, making it one of the larger cultural parks in our province and a ‘calling card’ and iconic structure for Lingao. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
