Formerly known as Piyeshan Mountain, it is named after the Piye Temple on the mountain. Located 4 kilometers northwest of Lincheng Town, it is a provincial-level nature reserve in Hainan. Gaoshanling has diverse rocks, lush forests, and blooming wildflowers. It is full of vitality all year round. In the mountain, there are the never-drying Qianjing Lake, Wongang Lake, and Banjiu Pond. These three small water surfaces are as flat as mirrors and shine in the sunlight, just like three jasper inlays on Gaoshanling, making the mountain landscape more vivid and diverse. There are historical sites on the mountain such as the ‘Pinya Sanskrit stone tablet’ erected by the Pinyi master of Brahmanism in India in the early Han Dynasty, the ‘Piye spiritual stone’ that appeared when the Wang family from Qingzhou migrated to this mountain in the Han Dynasty, and the Gaoshan Temple built in 1314. These provide valuable physical materials for the research on the history of Hainan Province and Lingao County. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
