Baoao Cherry Blossom Garden covers an area of 22.5 acres. The average age of the cherry blossom trees within the park is about 7-10 years, standing tall at 5-7 meters. When in full bloom, they create a breathtaking canopy, offering a beautiful and grand spectacle!
The varieties of cherry blossoms in the park include Spring Cherry Flagwood, also known as Thai Cherry, Flatland Cherry, March Cherry, Peach Red Shower Tree, and Pink Rain Tree. These species are native to regions such as Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and India, and are well-suited for subtropical climates. They bloom from March to April with pink flowers, presenting a unique sight where the flowers dominate and the leaves are barely visible, making them highly ornamental.
Operational hours are from March 11th to April 6th, 09:00-18:00; closed from April 7th to December 31st; and closed from January 1st to March 10th.
