Guangken (Maoming) National Tropical Agricultural Park is a comprehensive scenic area integrating agricultural eco-tourism, business conference reception, hotel industry, science education, and demonstration of organic fruit production. It is divided into four major sections: the Central Sightseeing Area, the Science Popularization Experience Area, the Thematic Agricultural Park Area, and the Thematic Hotel Area.
Among them, the guava garden, yangtao garden, green jujube garden, jackfruit garden, longan garden, lychee garden, and dragon fruit garden have been scaled up. The established attractions include the Tropical Agriculture Exhibition Hall, Agricultural Carnival (including Vegetable Tales, Melon Years, and Secret Realm of Spiritual Herbs), flower sea, flower mountain, Fruit Grand View Garden, and the Pigeon Pea Square. Leisure projects include single, double, and family bicycle rides, fruit picking activities throughout the year, fishing, and children’s playgrounds. The Green Lake Bay Hotel within the park is a four-star hotel that integrates dining, accommodation, meetings, and entertainment. The green and healthy farmhouse dishes raised and planted within the park are the dietary characteristics of the hotel. The park is adjacent to one of the new eight scenic spots of Huazhou, the famous mountain of Nan Guo, and Liuzhu Reservoir. The main peak has an altitude of 348 meters, with spectacular rocks, secluded scenery, and unique scenery, like a paradise on earth. Liuzhu Reservoir is a beautiful green jade inlaid in the natural scenic area of Zhonghuo Ridge, and it is an ideal place for people to relax, fish, and enjoy the scenery.
