The China National Tea Museum, located in Shuangfeng Village beside Longjing Road on the southwest side of West Lake in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is a museum dedicated to tea culture. It is China’s premier museum themed on ‘tea’.

The museum features a variety of exhibition halls, including those dedicated to tea history, tea varieties, tea affairs, tea sets, and tea customs. Additionally, there is a tea art area that showcases modern and ancient tea art performances, such as Jingshan tea ceremony and Taiwan tea ceremony. This area is situated in a building that replicates typical tea-drinking scenes.

Every year, following the Tomb-sweeping Day, the museum hosts an international ‘West Lake Tea Party’. The museum’s opening hours are as follows: Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 16:30; closed all day on Monday; and open on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, also from 09:00 to 16:30.

Service facilities at the museum include scenic area interpretation services in Chinese and English. The interpretation fee is 20 yuan for groups of fewer than 15 people and 30 yuan for groups of more than 15 people. Audio guide rental is also available in five languages: Chinese, English, French, Japanese, and Korean. The rental method involves a deposit of 100 yuan per person per unit, with a rent of 20 yuan per person per unit.
