The Zhejiang Xihu Art Museum is located on the east side of the Zhejiang Provincial Museum and is close to ‘Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake’, one of the ten scenic spots of the West Lake on the north line of the West Lake. The location was once the site of an early established higher art institution in China. The Zhejiang Xihu Art Museum has three floors in total, including a foyer, galleries, reception rooms, and four exhibition halls of different sizes. In addition to introducing high-quality art exhibitions from home and abroad irregularly and displaying fine modern and contemporary artworks from the collection, it also has two special exhibition halls: The Huang Binhong Calligraphy and Painting Hall and the Lu Xiaguang Art Museum. The Zhejiang Xihu Art Museum has advanced exhibition facilities and display methods. It will become a good place for researching art treasures, conducting academic exchanges, following art trends, and spreading art to the public.
