In the Cloud Mountain Wild Paradise
In the Cloud Mountain Wild Paradise is located in Xiaoyuan Village, Fenshui Town, Tonglu County, Hangzhou City. It is located by the Tianmu River, with beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and waters. The Tang Dynasty poet Wei Zhuang praised it in his poem as: ‘The Qiantang River leads all the way to Tonglu. The green mountains and clear waters are beyond compare in paintings.’ Here, the mountains overlap, the streams crisscross, the climate is mild, and the four seasons are distinct. Due to the unique mountain structure, a microclimate with warm winters and cool summers is formed. The average temperature in summer is around 23.5 degrees Celsius, which is 10 – 15 degrees Celsius lower than the urban temperature. The maximum temperature is lower than 34 degrees Celsius. The dense forests and gurgling streams create abundant natural oxygen and ‘negative ions’, etc. The air is fresh, the sun is shining, and the wild charm is wonderful, forming a natural summer resort.
In 2015, Fenshui Town was rated as a livable and leisure town in China. In the Cloud Mountain Wild Paradise is a comprehensive natural ecological tourist scenic area integrating health preservation, elderly care, leisure, delicious food, vacation, tourism and accommodation created by the Fenshui Town government. It is 90 kilometers away from downtown Hangzhou and is located in the middle section of the golden tourist route from Hangzhou to Huangshan.
