Turtle Pond scenic area is located east of Yanggong Causeway, west of Santai Mountain Road, north to Hangzhou Air Force Sanatorium, and south to Badanling Road. Constructed in 2003, it showcases the historical natural topography and wetland ecological landscapes of the West Lake region. The scenic area expands the water surface, creates scenic islands, and connects them with the shore via wooden curved bridges. It also features thatched pavilions and huts along the water’s edge, which blend harmoniously with the wetland landscape, making it a scenic spot throughout the four seasons. The main attractions include Yu Qian’s Memorial Temple and Yongfu Bridge, with the scenic area open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
