Time, an abstract and illusory concept, governs the way we perceive our existence. Imagine human lives as pixel blocks suspended within its framework. They may appear to be randomly arranged and combined, but in reality, they are connected by established rules that dictate their interactions.
In an effort to bring these notions of reality and illusion to life, we have crafted an album and are preparing a performance. Our aim is to present these temporal elements as concretely as possible, inviting everyone to share in a gathering that belongs to time itself. Join us as we delve into the traces of memory together.
The Raven Band, a collective of talented musicians, was founded in 1996. Comprising lead singer Yi Zi, guitarist Zhang Xiaoxi, bassist Chen Ziyan, and drummer Liu Jia, the band is known for their Indie-pop and Trip-hop styles, with a commitment to blending diverse musical elements.
At the start of 2024, The Raven Band released their latest album, “Questions About Time Travel,” which explores the varied interpretations of “time” for different individuals. The album’s style is notably independent.
