Jixian Pavilion is located opposite the ‘Late Fragrance Flowing’ stone tablet within the scenic area of West Lake in Hangzhou, historically known as one of the eighteen scenic spots of West Lake during the Qing Dynasty, known as ‘Pavilion Bay Riding and Shooting’. By the tranquil West Lake, this antique pavilion is hard to overlook; it stands elegantly on the lake with scenery all around, making it a popular spot for tourists to take photos and enjoy the lake view.
Jixian Pavilion collapsed due to strong winds in previous years but was subsequently restored. The pillars were repaired with steel structure, and although it is newly constructed, its appearance remains unchanged, retaining a certain value for visitors.
Opening hours: Open all year round, 24/7.
