The scenic spot is located on Qiangangcha Lake from the north end of Lintou Village, Lingzhi Street in the north of Shaoxing City to Pingfeng Bay of Qilijiang Village. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and is a passage for communicating transportation between the north and south banks and for ships to avoid wind and waves. The lake has an area of 2.25 square kilometers and is a relatively large natural freshwater lake on the Shaoxing Plain.
