Du Jisheng Brocade Museum is located within the Du Jisheng Silk Weaving Factory on Fengqi Road in Hangzhou. The museum covers an area of over 7,000 square meters, with an exhibition hall of 500 square meters. As a specialized brocade museum in China, it details the 2,000-year development history of traditional Chinese brocade with nearly a thousand artifacts and images, as well as showcasing the formation and development process of Du Jisheng brocade.
The museum is divided into four major exhibition areas: the exhibition hall, the raw material preparation workshop, the brocade weaving workshop, and the product display and sales hall. Additionally, there is a dedicated mulberry garden between the exhibition areas, featuring the five famous mulberry varieties of China. Du Jisheng initially was a personal name, then became the name of a factory, and subsequently referred to a specific type of handicraft and a brocade museum. As a domestic brocade-themed museum, it has become one of the symbols of Hangzhou silk. The museum is open all year round from 8:30 to 17:00.Du Jisheng Brocade Museum
