Daqishan National Forest Park is located in the southeast of Tonglu urban area, 7 kilometers away from Tonglu county. Compared with mountains in other cities, the scenery of Daqishan is much more delicate. In addition to the dense vegetation in the mountain forest, there are many waterfalls and streams of various sizes. The air is fresh and it is a place suitable for leisure visits.
Overview of Daqishan Scenic Area: The游玩 route of the scenic area is relatively simple. Enter from the scenic area entrance and walk all the way up along the tourist trail on the left (Shijingyuan Grand Canyon). When reaching the top of the mountain, there is a waterfall. On the way back, turn right when encountering the Zhiqing Canal. Finally, go down the mountain from the Sino-Japanese Friendship Forest. There are almost no other forks along the way. Just follow a clockwise loop along the trail and basically you won’t get lost. Ordinary tourists can complete the whole journey in two or three hours, which is relatively easy.
Entering the scenic area is first a small bamboo forest. At the end of the bamboo forest, Qingqing World is a small children’s playground. There are log games such as swings and single-plank bridges. You can bring children here to play. There are several small shops nearby selling some snacks.
Walking up along the trail, there are small streams and waterfalls accompanying all the way. Passing the winding and interesting flagstone road along the edge of the small reservoir, and then staggering across the suspension bridge. After a sudden change of scenery, you reach the Tianchi on the top of the mountain. The water in the pool here is so clear that you can almost see the bottom. The water surface is full of reflections of green trees, somewhat resembling the beauty of Jiuzhaigou.
Going further inside, at the end of the uphill trail is the last waterfall. Return from here. Not far away is the fork leading to the Zhiqing Canal. At the end of the Zhiqing Canal, there is a slideway (Flying Squirrel in the Forest). Tourists who want convenience can take the slideway down the mountain (about 50 yuan). It takes about ten minutes to walk down.
