The Earthlight Art Commune is located in Mantangli Natural Village, Lingfeng Street, Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a comprehensive tourist destination integrating tourism, leisure, entertainment, health, cultural creativity, business training, and ecological vacationing. Mantangli is an ancient and quaint village, and as you move along its winding village roads, the tranquility of the village is palpable.
The tourist center serves as the starting point for exploring Mantangli. It features a rural market and a bamboo and rattan weaving museum, selling local specialties and showcasing exquisite bamboo and rattan crafts, thus serving as a ‘window’ to the village. Currently, the white-walled and black-tiled Chinese-style buildings are neatly arranged. Bamboo elements can be seen in the doors, windows, and other details. The bamboo material gatehouse has a unique and eye-catching design, yet it harmoniously blends with the environment. In addition to utilizing existing resources such as houses, forests, and ponds to create open-air swimming pools, tent hotels, SPAs, and foot massage parlors, there are also plans to introduce traditional Sichuan opera and shadow puppet shows to enliven the ancient stage, allowing visitors to rest, experience, and enjoy. Mantangli has its unique charm during both day and night. The beauty of Mantangli during the day lies in its white walls and black tiles, rich in ancient style. At night, the peaceful tranquility and enchanting night views are the highlights of Mantangli. Various artistic lights are strung together along the roads, trees, residences, and water. The main night tour attractions created by the lights include: Green Bamboo Tea Corridor, Jade Bamboo Moon Viewing, Bamboo Mist, Fairy Bamboo Brocade Path, Mantangli Grand Scene, Clear Pond Shadows, Blossom Good Fortune, Moon Listening Tower, Three Thoughts Maze, Star Cloud Pond, Mantangli Wandering, and Firefly Space. These lights, arranged according to the scenery, are ubiquitous, making the summer nights in Mantangli more attractive. The full text is open all year round from 16:00 to 22:00. Preferential policies are as follows: Children: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) are free; children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (inclusive) are half price. Elderly: Seniors aged 60 years (inclusive) and above with valid ID cards are eligible for half price. Military personnel: Active-duty military personnel with officer’s certificates are eligible for half price. Disabled: Disabled people with level three or above certificates are eligible for half price. Students: Full-time undergraduate and below students with student IDs are eligible for half price.
