Originally, the name ‘Bailoqiao’ only referred to a bridge. It is located beside Lingyin Temple. It was once named Wanfo Bridge. Later, Bai Juyi, an official in Hangzhou, had a great preference for the bridge and renamed it Bailoqiao. The village next to it, marked by Bailoqiao, is now also called Bailoqiao. This place is a gathering place for many boutique hotels and inns. There are many very distinctive inns and youth hostels. It is suitable for young people to live here. One can read quietly, taste tea, look at the mountains, play in the water, worship Buddha, and nourish the heart here and live a few days of a life like a paradise.
