Zhongshan Hall is located in Yushan Town, to the north of the current Yushan farmers’ market. This building was constructed in 1934 to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen. People from all walks of life in Kunshan initiated fundraising. It was laid in May 1936 and completed in November of the same year. It is a palace-style building with a single-eaved hip roof and was a relatively large public building in Kunshan at that time.
