Nantong Underwater World is divided into several pavilions including the Tropical Rainforest Pavilion, the Coral Sea Life Pavilion, and the Marine Animal Performance Pavilion. Visitors can observe a variety of strange and fascinating marine life, play with sea turtles, and engage with seals. There are also mermaid performances to enjoy. The seal performances are particularly interesting, featuring actions such as ball pushing, backstroke swimming, ring catching, and ball balancing. Seals can understand some simple human gestures and prophecies, often using eye contact to communicate with their trainers during the show.
