The Modern and Contemporary Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum is located in Chuansha Ancient Town. In order to further promote the dissemination of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture and enhance the public’s understanding of TCM, the Pudong New Area Health Commission initiated the construction of the museum in 2018. The museum officially opened in October 2022. Our museum is housed in the Tian’en Hall, which was completed in 1932 and founded by Pastor Song Yaoru, and is currently a cultural heritage site protected by Pudong New Area.
The Modern and Contemporary Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum is divided into nine pavilions: Education Pavilion, Association Pavilion, Medical Literature Pavilion, Newspaper and Periodical Pavilion, Prescription Pavilion, Art Pavilion, Comprehensive Pavilion, Medical Policy Pavilion, and National Medicine Pavilion. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00; closed all day on Mondays; and open on Dragon Boat Festival from 09:00 to 16:00.Modern and Contemporary Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum
