Located within the underground space connecting the Fulin Tower’s underground palace in the Guangfulin Cultural Exhibition Hall, an Ancient Pottery Art Museum has been designed to showcase over 500 exquisite ancient pottery pieces provided by the Xia Yu Ancient Pottery Collection Museum, affiliated with the Shanghai Collectors Association. The exhibits encompass representative works of ancient pottery from various periods such as the Dawenkou Culture, Liangzhu Culture, Majiabang Culture, Longshan Culture, Xinzhen Culture, as well as the Xia, Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn Warring States, Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Tang, and Song dynasties.


The timeline spans from 3700 BCE to 907 CE, with many exhibits recovered from overseas. All exhibits have been appraised by experts and researchers from the National Art Center, with a special article and commentary provided by Qin Geng, the Deputy Director of the National Art Center and President of the National Art Magazine. Selected treasures are featured in the National Art Magazine. Opening hours: January 1st-30th, 09:00-17:00; January 31st, 09:00-14:00; February 1st-December 31st, 09:00-17:00.


Concessions: Children under 1.3 meters in height or under 6 years of age enter for free; disabled individuals with valid identification enter for free; active, retired, and disabled firefighters (including government professional firefighters) and fire rescue academy students with valid identification enter for free; active-duty military personnel, disabled veterans, and their families with valid identification enter for free; martyrs’ families, families of soldiers who died in the line of duty, and families of deceased soldiers with valid identification enter for free.
