Monk’s Cape Scenic Area is located in Sijiu Mountain on the main island of Sishan, Shengxi Archipelago, and is an excellent spot for watching the sunrise over the sea and observing the competition of thousands of boats. Operating hours are from 04:00 to 17:00 from May 1st to October 31st, and from 08:00 to 17:00 from November 1st to April 30th.
Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (not included) or aged 6 years old (inclusive) (must be accompanied by a parent for the tour) enter for free; those between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (inclusive) or aged between 6 years old (not inclusive) and 18 years old (inclusive) receive a discount. Elderly individuals aged 60 years old (inclusive) to 69 years old (inclusive) with a Senior Citizen’s Preferential Certificate or ID card receive a discount; those aged 70 years old (inclusive) and above with a Senior Citizen’s Preferential Certificate or ID card enter for free.
