Baiyun Feipu Park

Baiyun Feipu Park, nestled in the urban area of Jiaojiang at the foot of Baiyun Mountain, is home to one of China’s tallest artificial waterfalls, the Baiyun Feipu. Completed in April 2003 with an investment of nearly 50 million yuan, the waterfall’s construction was a meticulous endeavor that capitalized on the mountainous terrain of Yan Cang. Daily, two water pumps are employed to lift water upwards, with a peak volume of 1400 cubic meters per hour.

The project employs cutting-edge ‘spraying technology’, currently at the forefront in the international arena. This involves mixing grass seeds with soil and spraying the mixture onto bare rocks, followed by fertilization and watering, allowing the landscape to evolve into its present lush state.

Beyond the impressive artificial waterfall, Baiyun Feipu Park boasts a variety of features including artificial streams, Jiulong Xi Zhu Feng Shui Ball, Stone Forest, Tea Corridor, Star Stone Square, Zhiqiu Pavilion, and bronze sculptures. Throughout construction, the original terrain and landform were preserved, and stone from the quarry was repurposed to create naturalistic scenery. The aim was to minimize artificial痕迹 and achieve a harmonious blend of ‘people, stone, water, and nature’, resulting in a park that offers both dynamic views and tranquil leisure spots, with each step revealing a new scene.

Please note that the park’s opening hours and business status may vary depending on the day’s operational conditions.
