Tianjing Pavilion, a beautiful pearl inlaid in Shi Lake, is situated within the Shi Lake Scenic Area, which is famously referred to as ‘Half Lake of Jade.’ Originally, it was one of the many scenic spots within the Shi Lake Villa, the residence of the renowned Southern Song Dynasty poet Fan Chengda. The scenic spot, which was destroyed in the early 20th century, has been meticulously restored to its former glory based on historical records and the site plan, making it an excellent location for viewing the lake.
Covering a total area of over 2600 square meters, with a construction area of nearly 600 square meters, the Tianjing Pavilion scenic spot features a three-story octagonal double-eaved pavilion in its southern part, which serves as the main attraction. The pavilion stands as a testament to the architectural splendor of the past and is a central point of interest within the scenic area.
The Tianjing Pavilion scenic spot is open to visitors throughout the year, from January 1st to December 31st, with operating hours from 08:00 to 20:00.
