On May 6th, my husband and I visited Century Park, aiming for a romantic day together. We had prepared a picnic the night before, carrying backpacks filled with our favorite treats. However, upon arrival at the entrance, we were taken aback by the steep 45 yuan per person admission fee. It was too expensive for our budget!
What could we do? I didn’t want to give up on our prepared picnic. I suggested we drive around the park’s perimeter, and eventually, we found a suitable spot. After parking the car, we walked to the fence and, with a determined heart, climbed over it. Inside, we rented a tandem bicycle and leisurely rode around.
It turned out that the music carnival within was quite impressive, featuring a Chinese band—composed of a few young men—who sang beautifully: ‘That day we will meet, because I will fall in love with you…’ It was truly wonderful! If they had an album, I would definitely purchase one.
The park was crowded, but fortunately, it was vast. Having a picnic in such a beautiful park on a sunny day truly whetted my appetite. Observing the diverse crowd within the park, one’s mood couldn’t help
