The Alibaba Xixi Campus, also known as Taobao City, is the headquarters of the well-known Internet company Alibaba Group. It is located at 969 Wenyi West Road (at the intersection of higher education road), Yuhang District, Hangzhou City. It is in Wuchang Street, the core area of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City. The Alibaba Xixi Campus is bordered by Chang’er Road to the east, Chuangxin Road to the south, Gaojiao Road to the west, and Wenyi West Road to the north. The planned total area is 260,000 square meters. The first-phase project consists of 8 single buildings and 2 parking buildings, including basic facilities for daily office and leisure such as the main office area for employees, cafeteria, gym, lecture hall, and video screening room. The total construction area is approximately 290,000 square meters. The design of its main building is undertaken by the Japanese design master Kengo Kuma.
