Artist Wang Xu, with the local culture of Nanyang as his starting point, has extensively studied the achievements of international contemporary art creation, achieving remarkable success. He possesses a broad vision, full enthusiasm, a pure state of creation, and a keen and far-reaching artistic perspective. In his artistic creation, he has gradually formed his own independent painting language and aesthetic experience. He is a true contemporary artist who thinks about art, has opinions on it, and holds ideals for it. Wang Xu’s hometown, Zheshan, is one of the nine isolated mountains in the historical coordinates of Nanyang and is also an important region in the Nanyang mythological system. It symbolizes the source of life and is the starting point of Wang Xu’s life and spirit. His artistic creation will inevitably be connected with the humanistic scenery of this place. The regional and iconic landscapes of Nanyang appear in Wang Xu’s paintings, either intentionally or unintentionally. Open from December 24th to January 15th, Tuesday to Sunday, with specific business status subject to daily opening conditions.
