The Grand Canal, initiated during the early reign of Emperor Yang of Sui (605-610), begins in the north at Changhong Bridge in Wangjiangjing, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, and extends south to Chongfu Town, Tongxiang City, passing through Xiuzhou District, Xiucheng District, and Tongxiang City, with a total length of 81.22 kilometers. The ancient canal’s tourism route is currently under comprehensive development.
