2:30 PM – End of Baoguo Temple visit.
12:42 PM – Walked to the station, 12:50 PM – Boarded Jinze Line 7, 1:10 PM – Arrived at the final stop, Qingxi Country Park Station.
At this entrance of Qingxi Country Park, there is no scenic shuttle bus. Under the guidance of the park staff, I walked to the rural market.
1:30 PM – Queued for the sightseeing bus, 1:47 PM – Entered the Ecological Conservation Area. Due to the peak season on weekends, the park’s shuttle buses are divided into two segments. There are minibuses from parking lots 1 to 5, taking visitors to the rural market, and then transferring to electric carts to the Ecological Conservation Area. The same applies when leaving.
To take Jinze Line 7 during the peak season on weekends, it is best to get off at Lianhu Road on Lianxi Highway and take the minibus at Parking Lot 5.
This autumn, at the end of November and the beginning of winter, I visited Shanghai Qingxi Country Park for the second time. I saw the pure color of the redwood forest, the gradual transition from green to red, the reflections of tourists walking on the scenic wooden walkways, and the long queues and flowing shuttle buses.
On November 30th, I published a travelogue titled ‘Qingxi Country Park, a Great Place for Autumn Outings’ at https://you.This time, I am sharing some pictures of the changes in a few scenic spots.
Redwood Forest Egret Shadow:
Upon entering the Ecological Conservation Area, on the right is the water wave wetland where there are no redwoods and there is basically no change. On the left is the Redwood Forest Egret Shadow, a grove of redwoods. It is transitioning from green to red and now fully red. The original red leaves have fallen. The water forest I saw last time was the most beautiful. Now the leaves have changed from red to black and are beginning to fall. Coupled with the polluted sky and backlighting, my photos did not turn out well. In the depths of the water forest, the wooden walkway has been transformed into a thatched corridor, which adds a unique charm. Turn right at the exit of the Ecological Conservation Area and walk for about two to three hundred meters to reach another side of the water forest. The view is open and you can see the entire panorama of the water forest, now fully red. The redwoods on the water are picturesque in the eyes of photographers and the scenery is everywhere for tourists. To capture a perfect reflection of the redwoods, you need to consider many factors such as lighting. Photography depends on the weather, but unfortunately, it was a heavily polluted day and the beautiful scenery under blue skies and white clouds could not be captured.
Peach Blossom Crossing:
The redwoods stand tall and proud here. The leaves have changed from green to red and now they are all red, a feast for the eyes. The ones that were originally red have all fallen. Still, a few peach blossoms are blooming.
Green Rhyme Wild Path: Walking through the bay and redwood forest, tourists walk on the scenic wooden walkways, seeing the pure color of the redwood forest on both sides, the green grass, and the whole color is dazzling and colorful, dazzling and irresistible.
Riddle of Reed Snow: Under the setting sun, the reeds are golden in color. So beautiful! The tour ended at 16:06. Queued up to wait for the sightseeing bus. Got on the sightseeing bus at 16:28. Got off at the rural market at 16:36 and queued up to get on the minibus. At the second queue, got on the minibus at 17:03 and arrived at Parking Lot No. 3. There are really many tourists in Qingxi Country Park on weekends in peak season. The time spent queuing up twice for the bus is enough to walk out of the park on foot.
