Azure Seas and Golden Sands scenic area is located in the Bay Tourism Area of Fengxian District, Shanghai, at the southern end of the city, facing Hangzhou Bay. The entire water park is developed based on the favorable resources of the North Beach Conservation Project in Fengxian Hangzhou Bay, which started in December 2004 and officially opened on July 13, 2006.
