Bai Xian Lake is located on the west side of Zhouzhuang Town, approximately 5 kilometers long, commonly known as the White Clam River, named after the abundant white clams found in the river. It spans an area of 7.6 square kilometers with an average water depth of 2.5 meters.
Every evening, fishing boats return to the river, anchoring and mooring along the banks to dry their nets and sell fish, often singing folk songs, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of ‘Fishermen Singing at Dusk.’ The lake is open all day, every day from January 1st to December 31st.Bai Xian Lake
