Bailian Baihe Scenic Area is located on both sides of Su Ding Road in Kuangshanji Street, adjacent to the beautiful ancient Yue Lake. Due to land subsidence caused by coal mining in the early stages, the project site has varying water depths, with most areas remaining idle. The coal mining subsidence area follows the principle of ‘deepen for lakes, shallow for fields, and neither deep nor shallow for lotus and water lily planting’. It cultivates a hundred varieties of lotus and a hundred varieties of water lily, hence the name Bailian Baihe. The total project area is 2000 acres, with the first phase covering 950 acres, including an ancient Yue Lake water area of about 400 acres and a lotus base of 341 acres. Currently, over 20 varieties have been cultivated, including space lotus, Jiupin fragrant lotus, King lotus, tropical water lilies, and cold-climate water lilies. The scenic area is open to visitors all year round from 08:00 to 21:30.
