Bailu Cave is located within Yunlong Mountain Park, featuring an arched stone cave that stands 3.5 meters high, 3.1 meters wide, and extends 4 meters deep, originally an artificially refined cave. Amidst the lush greenery and scattered rocks, encountering this quaint cave evokes a sense of tranquility, as if a white deer might quietly emerge from it during the stillness of the night to ‘worship the moon’. Why is this stone cave named Bailu Cave? Historical records indicate that during the Tang Dynasty, brothers Li She and Li Bo lived in seclusion at the foot of Wu Lao Peak on Mount Lu, studying and raising a white deer for leisure. They excavated a stone cave on the cliff as a dwelling for the deer, dubbing it Bailu Cave. The opening hours are subject to the park’s daily operational status.
