The Baimajian Peak Scenic Area of the main peak of Dabie Mountain is located in Huoshan County, Lu’an. The main peak of Dabie Mountain is called Baimajian Peak. The secondary main peak is called Duoyunjian Peak. The third highest peak is Tianhejian Peak. The three peaks form a tripod in a triangular shape. The top of Baimajian Peak is full of strange pines and rocks. On the northeast slope, there is the Millennium Rhododendron Garden of Duozhi. There are thousands of Duozhi rhododendrons with different postures. In spring when flowers are in full bloom, the pleasant degree is truly rare. At the entrance of the Baimajian Peak Scenic Area of the main peak of Dabie Mountain, there are several buildings made of natural stones. In particular, the windows built with several large stones are truly ingenious and unique in China’s scenic area architecture. Passing through the ticket gate, a natural fallen stone comes into view. The words ‘Baimajian’ are engraved on the fallen stone. The climb of the scenic area starts here. Climbing up step by step along the steps, there is an artificial waterfall – Longmen Waterfall. In spring, summer and autumn, the mountain spring water from Baimajian Peak gathers on the water surface and overflows the dam body, forming a water curtain that hangs in the air and rushes down. After passing the waterfall, you can enjoy viewing pictographic stones such as Wolonggang, Tortoise Carrying Its House, Beauty’s Rest, Immortal’s Boots, and One Man Guards the Pass along the way. You can also enjoy landscapes such as Jinzhu Peak, Longevity Pavilion, Strange Pine Corridor, and Millennium Duozhi Rhododendron Forest. When reaching the top of the mountain, you can feel the continuous posture of the 800-li Dabie Mountain. The distant mountains and nearby ridges are all in full view. In addition, at the top of the mountain, you can also see the landmark monument of Baimajian Peak. It is a number 1777 made of piled stones, about 3 meters high. The meaning of this number is that its geographical location is 1777 meters above sea level.
