Bajian Spring is located in Xuzhou, the hometown of Han culture, at the foot of Dingtang Mountain in Hanwang Town. It was formed in the second year of Emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty. Here, there are continuous mountains and crisscrossing rivers. It is known as ‘the landscape is in one color, and people’s livelihood and things are prosperous.’ It is a famous hometown of flowers, fruits and roses in Xuzhou. The Bajian Spring that people see now has been built into a large rectangular well with cement. The Mapa Spring has been expanded into a water storage lake. The two springs gush water day and night continuously, clean, elegant and warm. The water flow is about 2592 cubic meters per day, becoming one of the important water sources for irrigation of farmland in Hanwang Town. In the green grassland on the south bank of Bajian Spring, there are more than ten steles of different sizes. The words of different depths on the steles record the undying history of this divine spring for thousands of years, confirming the thousand-year surging of Bajian Spring and the simple Han style.
