The Bank of China building is a three-story Baroque-style structure, funded by German expatriates in Shanghai and constructed in 1908. It features a brick and wood structure and was designed by the Beyer Architecture Firm. It stands out among the many buildings on the Bund as the only one designed and constructed by the Chinese themselves.
The building is open all year round from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00. On Saturdays and Sundays, the building may open depending on the situation, with business hours from 10:00 to 16:00 if it is open. Please refer to the day’s opening status for specific details.
